The jewelry brand “Vogue” has nothing to do with the well-known fashion magazine. Vogue was founded by Harold Shapiro, George Grant and Jack Gilbert in 1936. The company specialized in jewelry and accessories made from all kinds of artificial pearls. Their multicolored and multi-row necklaces immediately struck a chord with fashion-conscious women.
