VENDÔME - 1944 to 1979

"The ultimate in refinement and brilliance."

The company was founded in 1944 as a subsidiary of Coro. Vendôme stood for unique style and high-quality jewelry. The name is derived from the Parisian jewelry trading center Place de Vendôme, which specialized in the production of luxury jewelry for affluent clientele. Vendôme used high-quality materials such as rock crystals from Austria and Czechoslovakia, sparkling imitation pearls and enamel, gold-plated or silver-plated metal, and clear and colored Plexiglas. Vendôme focused on glamour and exclusivity, making this brand a popular choice for fashionable ladies of the time. In 1953, the company separated from Coro and existed until 1979.
