The Mazer family has been making jewelry since 1923. In the 1930ies, they employed the designer Marcel Boucher, who contributed significantly to the success of "Mazer Brothers". After 1946, the brothers split their company. From this time on, Joseph Mazer signed his jewelry "Jomaz" or "Joseph Mazer", while his brother continued to use the signature "Mazer Bros."
