CAROLEE since 1972

Carolee is a jewelry brand that was founded in 1972 by Carolee Friedlander and her friend and business partner Lenore Goldberg in Westchester County, New York. The company started as a small retail store selling handmade jewelry pieces. In the 1980s, Carolee became known for its particularly beautiful designs of pearl jewelry. This jewelry opened the doors to exclusive department stores. Carolee evolved into a globally successful brand for fashion and designer jewelry. In the 1990s, the company expanded internationally and opened branches in Europe and Asia. In 2018, the brand was acquired by Brooks Brothers, an American clothing company.
