UNSIGNED

"unsigned jewelry"

A piece of jewelry that does not bear a signature can still come from the production of a well-known designer and manufacturer. Until 1950, most pieces of jewelry were not signed. From 1950 onwards, costume jewelry was often sold in sets, i.e., a necklace, earrings, bracelet, and brooch in a jewelry box. In this case, only one of the set pieces was signed. And in the 1980s and 1990s, jewelry was not signed because only the jewelry card was printed with the manufacturer's logo to offer the jewelry at a lower price in department stores. But why shouldn't one save and preserve a "Vintage Beauty" if one likes the quality and design?
